River Rest Cabin was built by master builder Russ Hendricks in 2014. With it's modern open design it is inviting and comfortable and will inspire a more relaxed approach to your stay.

Russ used his years of experience as a builder, incorporating elements of the past as well as the present, to create a one of a kind cabin. The floor boards and loft floor joists were reclaimed from a local historic building and the post and beams came from his select stock of naturally aged timbers. Top notch construction and attention to detail makes for a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

With it's quiet and peaceful surroundings the cabin encourages a contemplative approach to life and makes the perfect place for a writer's retreat or photographers home base studio while on the island. River Rest would also be a wonderful place to spend your first, second or third honeymoon!

Of course, if you need to stay connected, the cabin is equipped with telephone and WiFi.
